You have hitched your wagon to ours, you clever thing. This means that we will represent you and your work so long as your membership is active. We will sell three items (including multiples of those items) at our weekly stall and any sales opportunities that arise, like fairs, events and exhibitions. Just to be clear: all of this is assuming that you are within reasonable distance from Brighton & Hove and have already met us at a meet-up.
The next step is to bring us these items you would like us to hold, and we will issue you a receipt and discuss the best way to display them. When we sell your items, the full value will go to you (minus Sumup transaction fees). You can retrieve your items from us at any time, we will never claim authorship of them and there will be no penalty for coming off this tier.
Sales is one side of the deal, the other is promotion. We will enthusiastically hand out business cards, direct people to your socials or website, and we will pass on any information you would like to be known. If someone enquires about commissions or sales, we will put them in touch with you as soon as possible.
Your support through Patreon will help us cover the rent of a stall, time spent being at the stall and the admin work of keeping track of sales and money. You will not be obliged to help at the stall yourself unless you really want to. You can make things easier by merchandising your items with sleeves, stands, signs, etc. but we can handle that if you are unsure what to do.
